Summer calls for a blended frozen beverage do you agree? My 2020 warm weather drink of choice: sparkling watermelon raspberry slushie cocktail. Oh and this recipe makes a pitcher of it so get excited 🥂!
I'm a huge frosé fan, especially a frozen strawberry frosé or one of my all time favorites, lemon lavender frosé. Honestly, it was only a matter of time before watermelon became involved.
The secret to the perfect sparkling watermelon raspberry slushie cocktail? Frozen watermelon. Cube it up prior to freezing, throw it in a ziplock bag, and freeze until ready to blend up!
Other than that, this cocktail takes approximately 5 minutes to make and is perfect for any (social distancing, mask wearing, no more than 5 people - oh the times we live in) get together out on your porch/balcony/deck or picnic.
Combine with a little grilling action for the perfect al fresco summer dinner. My personal outdoor dining pairing choices: Jamaican jerk chicken wings and a little dressed up corn on the cob.
