Whew! It's finally the weekend so let's celebrate yes? Grab your favorite whiskey glass and try this maple bourbon old fashioned!
This delish beverage is essentially the same as its traditional counter part with one important twist. Instead of simple syrup, add a splash of barrel aged maple syrup!

Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned Cocktail

Description
Add a splash of barrel aged maple syrup to your favorite old fashioned for a delicious twist on the classic!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ounces bourbon whiskey
- 3 dashes angostura bitters
- 1 tablespoon barrel aged maple syrup
- 1 orange peel slice
- Optional: Splash of club soda
- Ice cubes (I used one large ice cube)
Instructions
- In your favorite whiskey glass, pour in maple syrup andd bitters. Stir gently.
- Add ice cube(s) to the glass. Pour bourbon over the ice. Stir as desired. Top with a splash of club soda if desired.
- Garnish with an orange slice. Enjoy!
