This 🙌🏻 recipe 🙌🏻 is 🙌🏻 fantastic 🙌🏻 and I'll tell you why.
One: I mean, it's a mascarpone cheesecake infused with refreshing key lime flavor. Boom.
Two: Did you make an awesome cheesecake that tastes delicious but...it broke? Cracked? Fell off the pan? This trifle is the perfect, and BEAUTIFUL, solution! Trust me, no one will ever know.
How to Fix a Cheesecake
I know you've been there. I certainly have! Big ol' crack on the top of your perfect cheesecake that no matter how you try you just can't cover up. Or maybe it broke in half when you tried to get it out of the spring form pan but it's still absolutely delicious? OR did you bake it with the spring pan form bottom upside down and as a result absolutely destroy your cheesecake trying to get it off?
Yup. You guessed it. All of those were me. Especially that last one 🤦🏼♀️, which resulted in my new favorite dessert form: the trifle.
Sure you can try the hot water with the spatula thing on top to fix a crack but honestly I usually just cover it up. But a broken slash destroyed cheesecake? Make it a trifle. Hands down.
