WOW hi! Been yet another minute right? Just popping in to say I'm still here but that I've been on a bit of a sabbatical as my sister puts it. Honestly, most days up till recently have looked like that photo: fuzzy hair, tired face, and snoozes in bed with Calypso at all hours (she was not into having her picture taken at that particular moment). And to be real, the ridiculous heat wave we recently had did NOT help (108 degrees in Seattle is insaaaaane - the freeway pavement in downtown buckled it was so hot).
However, I wanted to let you know I'm finally feeling up to working on some recipes this week and will be sharing delicious yums with you again soon (I mean it this time!). I desperately miss the kitchen and can't wait to get back to work. Before I go, just wanted to say a quick thank you for your patience and support during my "sabbatical", your kind comments and e-mails have not gone unnoticed 😊. Couldn't be here without you!
