It's moving time!!! Dan and I have FINALLY relocated to our new (first!) house.
Pretty sure my eyes are closed in that photo. Nailed it. (Also this was taken when we first bought so things look a little different these days.)
Anyway, our new house! It even has floors and counters and everything now 🤣. Oh AND a sink! You never really realize how often you use the kitchen sink until you don't have one.
As excited as I am to show all our updates and renovations, we have to get settled in a bit first. The kitchen is currently completely full of boxes and you can't even walk into the office.
Side note: I have an office, and TWO bathrooms. The ultimate win! The bathrooms need a little love but at least there's two! We even have an extra little house out back that we haven't begun to figure out yet. Photography studio? Gym? Party room (Dan's favorite option)? Any ideas??
Ok getting to my point. Since it's moving time, I'm going to be taking a quick second to get my new house organized and will be out of the kitchen for the next week. I can't wait to get cooking in said kitchen, it's literally twice the size of the one we had in our apartment. I'msoexcitedhonestly but it'll have to wait just a smidge longer. I still have to put everything away, organize it all in Marie Kondo fashion, and maybe get some handles and knobs for our bare cabinets 😂.
Like I said, there's still some work to be done, but after two long months of traveling back and forth we're in. Now it's time to get settled! I'll be cooking up recipes to share with you as soon as the kitchen is up and running.
With that, I'm off to fully move into our house and I'll see you next week!

I'm new here. Just kinda feeling my way around your blog. I came on here today to make your fresh peaches ice cream. It looks so yummy!! I'm in California and, it's kind of late now so, I will have to make it tomorrow. I do have the peaches sliced though and in the fridge. I don't know when you and your hubby got your house but, it's adorable. I'll just "snoop" around a little more before going to bed. Hope all is well with you and your sweet family. Debbie
