January isn’t complete without a tasty new smoothie to help you with that “get healthy this year” resolution! But if I’m going to have a smoothie for breakfast, it better have some solid garnishes to keep me feeling full. However, drinking a bunch of peanuts or whole berries doesn’t really work that well. Supercharged green smoothie bowl to the rescue!
Supercharged you ask? Well it might look innocent, but this green smoothie bowl is jam packed with healthy ingredients: peanut butter, spinach, chia seeds, coconut, and even avocado. Oh and its vegan! Coconut milk for the wiiiiiin.
Best of all, you can load it with toppings because it’s in a bowl. Love it. Especially toasted coconut because yessss. I find toppings make a smoothie a real meal, and with peanut butter and avocado in there you’ll be full till lunch time!
Also, as smoothies tend to do, this supercharged green smoothie bowl only takes 5 minutes to make, as long as you’ve got some frozen fruit available! Frozen bananas and a few berries will do the trick, otherwise it’s more smoothie soup. Frozen fruit gives it more body and it’ll actually stay on your spoon!
So 5 minutes to make and chock full of healthy ingredients? Supercharged green smoothie bowl for breakfast it is ????.
