70's! We've cooled down to the 70's!!!!! Aaaaahhhhh I never thought I'd be so happy to say only 78 degrees today!! We did order our air conditioner. It's been shipped, should be here next week and I'm BEYOND excited to receive it. Cuz August has yet to arrive. But I'm going to be lounging right next to my fabulous cooling device with a tall glass of these (wonderfully orange!) Tropical Summer Fruit Smoothie in my hand.
We've been on a massive smoothie kick for the past couple months, not just because of warming weather but winter was rough. Far too much take out. Now, when I say "we" are on a smoothie kick, I mean the Boyf got on a smoothie kick and whipped my hoighty toighty "I dont doooo smoothies" butt into shape (for reals said that. Literally ate my words 5 minutes later cuz it was SO delicious. And healthy!).
Anyhoo, he's been blending up smoothies left and right so be prepared for a few more fabulous smoothie recipes coming your way! This particular smoothie is one of my own invention. I basically attempted to remember what the "mango a go-go" at Jamba Juice tasted like and this was the result, minus all the sugary sherbet. Deeee-licious! I did use some of Nancy's Vanilla Yogurt (organic, probiotic filled, all-healthy all the time fantastic yogurt) to smoooooth out the fruit in the smooooothie (I'm a ROLL with the puns lately). I also used a copious amount of orange juice. Frozen fruit does not like to blend! Learned to add the juice first and theeeen the fruit, helps the blades blend better.

I used to feel the same as you and then got into smoothies about 8 months ago. Now I have one almost everyday. Great recipe and beautiful photos! 🙂
