Summer calls for some Classic Fresh Mint Mojitos. Before I moved to Seattle, our house in LA had a garden in the backyard that somehow, almost all year long, grew a massive surplus of mint. An absolutely ridiculous amount. Grew like a weed. SO, we thoughtwhat to do with all this fresh, fragrant mint?

Classic Minty Mojitos; simple recipe, 10 minute prep time, and refreshingly delicious. Serve this up with some chips and guacamole, and your favorite tacos, and it's a done deal.
PS. Funny story about that mint. Once my mom asked my sister to go grab some from the backyard for mojito night...She came back with catnip (would've made for an interesting tasting beverage). Moral of the story: If it does't smell minty, it's not mint, so make sure you check! (or just don't ask my sis 🙂 )Print
