Description

Deep chocolate flavor with a hint of caffeine, this smoothie recipe is the perfect healthy sweet treat morning boost!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant espresso powder (I use Medaglia D’Oro Instant Espresso Coffee)
  • 8 dates, minced
  • 2 large bananas
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds
  • Honey as desired for sweetness


Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Mix on high until completely blended. Taste and add honey as desired. Enjoy!
