Description

A twist on the classic Moscow mule, substitute vodka with your favorite Irish whiskey for a festive St. Patrick's Day drink recipe!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 ounces Irish Whiskey
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • Optional: Dash of angostura bitters (a couple drops will do)
  • Lime slices and fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add fresh mint, lime juice, bitters (if using), and whiskey to a cocktail shaker. Using a cocktail muddler, "smoosh" the mint up really well and then muddle together before shaking.
  2. Shake mixture in the cocktail shaker and pour into a whiskey glass or a copper mug over ice.
  3. Top with ginger beer as (more as desired). Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint. Cheers!
