  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 teaspoon loose leaf earl grey tea or 1-2 bags earl grey tea (depending on how strong you like your tea!)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried lavender buds
  • 4 ounces cup steamed milk (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla paste*
  • 1/4 teaspoon white sugar

Instructions

  1. Brew earl grey tea with lavender buds, letting it steep for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bags/tea strainer. If not using a tea strainer, make sure to strain the tea before adding the milk.
  2. If you don't have a steamer, scald 1/4 cup of milk in the microwave, or on the stove. Using a frother or an immersion blender, froth the milk until you've got about a 1/2 cup.
  3. Pour steamed milk into the brewed tea, making sure to pour the milk from underneath the frothy top.
  4. Gently stir in vanilla and sugar. Top with frothy milk. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

I prefer to use vanilla paste because it has more flavor and a little bit of texture, adding richness to the latte. However, vanilla extract will also work just fine!

If you're not a fan of white sugar, you can try any of your favorite sweeteners! Agave, honey, etc.
