HAPPY almost Friday!!! I’m especially excited about this particular Friday and have a little news to share with you: I mayyyy be getting married really soon 👰🏼💍🙌🏻💃🏼!!! Which means….for the next couple weeks, I’m going to be out of the kitchen! So for the first time in two years (two years!) I’m going to take an actual, real break from Aberdeen’s Kitchen.
Usually whenever I go on vacation, which granted isn’t that often, I have posts lined up to keep the ball rolling while I’m away. However, I felt if there was ever a time to unplug, relax, and actually stay off the computer (I know right?), it would be honeymoon time. These past two years here have been amazing, watching Aberdeen’s Kitchen grow because of you and I couldn’t be more grateful! You just have to live your life with balance (Dan is probably laughing at me, I might be a ever so slightly a work-a-holic 😎) and right now it’s time to enjoy family friends, and a little get away, not to mention being a Mrs!
Side note: Have I told you about our honeymoon yet?? I might have, but in case I haven’t, we’re headed over to Japan ⛩🍱!!! Also Hawaii because obviously, tropical get away needed 🏝. We’ve been planning this trip for basically a year now and it’s finally almost here! We just have to have the wedding first 😆.
Back to the point! Admittedly, this is a little hard for me. I love sharing my recipes with you and making sure there are always new ones ready to be sent your way! But if ever, this is time to take a probably much needed break.
Ergo: I’ll be leaving Aberdeen’s Kitchen afloat here with you, no new posts or new content for two whole weeks! I’m going to focus on resting my currently quite over saturated mind and enjoy this amazing time in my life. But not to worry! I’ll probably have my camera, at the very least my iphone to take photos of ALL of Japan and Hawaii. Plus our amazing engagement photographer Kim Stanton from Big Day Photography will be documenting our wedding and I already can’t wait to share those with you!
