Hi friends! How's the week been treating you so far? Personally, I think its about time we have another quick, easy, boozy beverage. I'm so ready to plop down out on the back porch on a warm, sunny day, with a refreshing glass of cool, crisp vino. And what could be easier than Strawberry Blueberry Thyme Spring Sangria??
My favorite thing about sangria in general is that it takes pretty much 0.28753487 seconds to make.
...Ok well that might be a slight exaggeration, but it's definitely less than 5 minutes. Even with the strawberry slicing. And it's just so pretty!!! Throw everything into a pitcher and let it chill in the fridge for 2 hours, and voila! Spring in a wine glass.
I asked Dan what his favorite thing about this Strawberry Blueberry Thyme Spring Sangria is, and I was expecting something to the effect of "the light, fruity flavor" or "the crisp Rosé with the subtle hints of thyme"....don't know why I was expecting that really. Instead I received "I love the fruit that soaks up all the wine so when you bite into it it squishes wine!" ????????????.
To be fair, this is very true. Sangria most certainly does have wine squishing fruit...????
Anyhoo, if you're headed out to a spring soiree and can't decide which bottle of wine to bring, spice it up a little bit with this Strawberry Blueberry Thyme Spring Sangria! It's oh so pretty and brings out the best of the season. Plus, in my experience, when it's all out but there's still a ton of fruit left, any other bottles of wine at the party will get sneakily poured into the pitcher for continuous sangria libations ????. Works for me!
PS. Thyme not your thing? Take a note from my Mint Cherry Berry Summer Sangria! A simple switcheroo, fresh mint instead of thyme, will have you in business in no time ????.
